Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city
Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with youth, families and educators through public information points and event-based activities. The Vienna effort is led by Gabriele Toker, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on commonly abused substances, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring news europe bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. A short report is available via a Scientology Europe report.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, noted: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
